Lucknow Metro Extension Approved to Enhance City's Transit

The Network Planning Group (NPG) under PM Gati Shakti has approved the extension of the Lucknow Metro rail corridor by 11.165 kilometres to meet the city’s increasing transportation demands. The approval includes the second Metro East-West corridor project proposed between Charbagh and Vasankunj, following clearance granted by the Uttar Pradesh government in March this year.
