Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in her recent Budget speech that the government plans to develop Plug and Play industrial parks in 100 cities nationwide. This initiative will involve collaboration with state governments and private companies. Additionally, 12 industrial parks will be sanctioned under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. These parks will feature comprehensive infrastructure and be strategically located in or near major cities, utilizing improved town planning schemes to attract and support investment-ready enterprises.
