The district administration has initiated the land acquisition process for the Noida International Airport in Jewar, marking a significant milestone for the project. The second phase of construction includes plans for a maintenance & repair and overhaul (MRO) hub along with an aviation hub. The total cost for acquiring land for this phase amounts to approximately ?4,898 crore. A total of 1,365 acres of land will be acquired, primarily from villages including Karauli Bangar, Dayanatpur, Kuraib, Ranhera, Mudharh, and Beerampur, covering an area of 1,181.3 hectares.
