The Board of Va Tech Wabag has greenlit a proposal for a shareholders agreement to execute the Thane Municipal Corporation project. This project involves Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) aspects and focuses on developing, operating, and maintaining a 120 MLD sewage treatment plant at Kopri, Thane (East). It also includes establishing a power generation facility and tertiary treatment plant to sell tertiary treated water from the sewage treatment plant.
