Power Grid has announced the commissioning of the Transmission System project for evacuating power from the 2×500 MW Neyveli Lignite Corp. Ltd TS-1 (Replacement) (NNTPS) in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The project was commissioned effective from February 10, 2024, and the Notification for Commercial Operation (NOCO) was received on April 10, 2024.
