Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has achieved a significant milestone by discovering the lowest tariff of ?2.42 (~$0.029) /kWh in the auction for 300 MW grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (KUSUM) program. The auction, conducted across Agar, Sagar, and Morena districts, saw competitive bidding, with the lowest tariff being quoted by Purshotam Profiles for 100 MW capacity in the Agar district and Sangamam Power Projects for 100 MW capacity in the Sagar district. This achievement reflects the state’s commitment to promoting renewable energy and achieving cost-effective power generation.
