Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) enters into an agreement with the World Bank as part of the Gujarat Resilience City Development Programme (GRCDP). The AMC updates the bank on various infrastructure projects underway, funded by a Rs 3,000 crore loan. The standing committee approves projects worth Rs 778.15 crore, including the construction of a 375 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) at Vasna. Additionally, the World Bank sanctions a feasibility report for a 424 MLD plant at Pirana. The civic body also floats a tender worth Rs 360 crore for a new 240 MLD STP at Vasna.
