Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, inaugurates a significant infrastructure project in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The centerpiece is a cutting-edge Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with a capacity of 14 Million Liters Per Day (MLD), established under the Namami Gange Programme. The project, funded entirely by the central government under the DBOT mode, includes a 2.4 km long Interception & Diversion (I&D) Network. With an estimated cost of Rs. 77.36 crores, the initiative aims to enhance wastewater management and environmental sustainability in the region.
