In a joint venture, state-owned Gail India and Trualt Bioenergy plan to invest over $72 million in ten compressed biogas (CBG) plants. Trualt will hold a 51% stake, with the remaining equity owned by Gail. The investment, financed through a mix of debt and equity, aims to process more than 600 million kilograms of organic waste annually. The plants will produce over 33 million kg of CBG, nearly 20 million kg of solid fermented organic manure, and over 30 million kg of liquid fermented organic manure per year.
