Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN) has announced the acquisition of a 100 MW solar project through an e-auction by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). The project, secured at a bid of ?2.63/unit, will be undertaken by SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), its wholly-owned subsidiary. Upon signing the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), the project is projected to be operational within 18 months.
