MSEDCL Receives 1,500 Acres for 222 MW Solar Project in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra

The Maharashtra State Electricity Development Corporation Ltd (MSEDCL) has secured a 1,500-acre land parcel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for a solar power project with a capacity of 222 megawatts. This solar plant, a key addition to the region’s renewable energy infrastructure, will be further expanded with an additional allocation of 2,000 acres in the upcoming phase. Additionally, a separate 170 MW solar project is in the works for the neighboring Jalna district, contributing to the state’s commitment to sustainable energy generation.
