Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced the approval of road and infrastructure schemes worth Rs 154.25 crore for the Una and Kangra regions of Himachal Pradesh under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF). The approved schemes include the construction of two bridges on the Swan River at a cost of Rs 50.60 crore and a project at Pong Dam on the Beas River with an estimated cost of Rs 103.65 crore.
