Tata Power plans to setup two pumped hydro storage projects (PSP) in the state of Maharashtra. The two plants will be situated in Shirvata, Pune (1800 MW) and Bhivpuri, Raigad (1000 MW). The two projects will have a combined capacity of 2,800 MW. The company has signed an MOU with the state government in this regard.
