SJVN has commenced the mechanical spinning of Unit-I in the 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Electric Project (NMHEP) located in Mori, Uttarakhand. This significant milestone, involving the turbine generators and associated auxiliaries, represents the final preparations for unit synchronization. The project, situated along the Tons River in Uttarkashi district, is designed as a run-of-the-river project to harness energy and is expected to generate 265.5 million units of electricity annually. Additionally, SJVN has constructed a 37 km 220 KV Transmission Line for efficient power evacuation from Naitwar Mori HEP from Bainol to Snail.
