Adani Electricity Mumbai is investing more than Rs 2,000 crore to construct two new transmission lines in the city, enhancing its network. The move aligns with the company’s goal of sourcing 60 percent of the city’s energy from renewables by 2027. The transmission lines include the Kharghar-Vikhroli and Thane-Aarey Colony lines. The Kharghar-Vikhroli line is expected to be operational by 2025, while the Thane line will follow and be commissioned by 2027.
