Indian Oil Signs Long-Term LNG Deals with TotalEnergies and ADNOC to Strengthen Gas Infrastructure

Indian Oil Corp Limited, India’s largest refiner, signed a 10-year long-term deal with TotalEnergies and ADNOC LNG to purchase 2 million metric tonnes per annum of LNG. TotalEnergies will supply up to 0.8 MMT LNG annually, marking their first long-term LNG contract in India. This move strengthens Indian Oil’s gas infrastructure. Additionally, Indian Oil and TotalEnergies have a joint venture named IndianOil Total Private Ltd (ITPL) since 2020, focusing on bitumen derivatives and specialty products for India’s road-building industry.
