Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA)
According to recent reports, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is considering an extension of the proposed Versova-Virar Sealink to Palghar. Originally, the sealink was planned to only reach Virar, so the MMRDA will conduct a pre-feasibility study of the additional stretch. In addition, the Authority intends to construct an access-controlled sea link along this route.
