BMRCL is reconsidering development of Bettahalasur metro station in the airport metro line

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is reconsidering its decision on dropping the metro station at Bettahalasur, which was proposed between Bagalur Cross and Doddajala on the National Highway, connecting Kempegowda International Airport.  Earlier, after real estate company Embassy Group withdrew its investment in the development, the BMRCL opted to abandon the station’s construction, which is a part of the airport metro line. Embassy Group, however, has recently expressed interest in revisiting their plan.
