Nagpur Metro project phase one

Phase I of the Nagpur Metro rail project was recently inaugurated by PM Modi. Phase-I of the project, which covers a distance of 40 km, consists of 36 stations. More than Rs 8,650 crore was spent on the development of the metro project. The project’s Phase II will cost more than Rs 6,700 crore to develop. It will have 32 stations and go 43.8 kilometres. The second phase includes Hingna in the west, Transport Nagar (Kapsi) in the east, Butibori MIDC in the south, and Kanhan in the north. It has 42.6 km of elevated track with 30 stations, and 1.2 km of at-grade track with two stations.
