PhonePe launches its first green Data Centre at Mhape in Mumbai

Walmart-owned fintech business PhonePe is spending over $200 million to erect data centres in India. PhonePe, with technology and solutions from Dell Technologies and NTT, has announced the opening of its first green data centre in India. Advanced alternative cooling technologies including Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) and Liquid Immersion Cooling were used in the construction and design of this 4.8 megawatt facility, which is located in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. Now there are three data centres owned by PhonePe. The fourth such facility would soon be established by the corporation in Bengaluru.
