Tinplate Company India (TCIL)
TCIL, a subsidiary of Tata Steel, currently operates a tinplate production line in Jamshedpur, having a capacity of some 379,000 tonnes of tinplate and tin-free steel. The company is undertaking expansion programme and targeting a capacity of 679,000 tonnes in three years. TCIL is aiming for 1 million tonne capacity by 2030.
