Sewage treatment systems in Pune
The Standing Committee of PMC has recently approved Rs 393 Crore For Sewage Treatment Systems in 11 new Merged Villages of Pune, Maharashtra. A detailed project report has been prepared for the sewage treatment plant in this regard. As per the report, 111 km of drainage line costing Rs 100.63 crore, 57 km of the main sewers costing Rs. 101.8 crore will be laid out to collect sewage. At the same time, the existing 14 km of the sewers will also be improved at a cost of Rs 13.37 crore. Apart from this a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 93.50 MLD at Manjari Budruk and 12 MLD capacity will be set up at Keshavnagar. The projects will be taken up in three phases over a three year period.
