Bengaluru Suburban Rail project update

Karnataka Rail Infrastructure Development Enterprises (K-Ride)

K-RIDE, a JV between the railway ministry and the state government, is executing the Bengaluru Suburban Rail project. The 148-km long project will have four corridors and 57 stations. The tender is likely to be floated soon for a 25 kilometre long stretch between Baiyappanahalli and Chikkabanavara in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The work is likely to commence by October 2021.
