The Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science and Technology Promotion Society (CREST) plans to set up a 2 MW (varying from 2kW to 100 kW) grid-connected rooftop solar systems at various government buildings and institutions in Chandigarh. The bids are currently invited in this regard. Apart from the design, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the project, the successful bidder will also have to undertake the operation and maintenance of the plant for ten years.
