The Ganga Expressway project is a proposed six lane greenfield fully access controlled expressway project in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The expressway project covering 628-km length is expected to connect twelve districts between Prayagraj and Meerut district. This expressway will be of 6 lanes (expandable upto 8 lanes) and all the structures will be constructed of 8 lane width. Width of ROW (Right of Way) of expressway is proposed as 130M, a service road of 3.75 M width will be constructed at one side of the expressway in staggered form so that residents of nearby villages of the project area may get smooth transportation facility.The districts that would benefit includes: Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahar, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Raebareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj.The project is estimated to cost Rs. 36,000 crore.
