NTPC Limited plans to expand thermal power plant capacity of Talcher Thermal Power Station, located at: Talcher, Dist: Angul. The High Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) of Govt. of Odisha has asked the company to take up CSR activities for the 4 districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh and Sambalpur for strengthening of higher education institution (High School, College andTechnical Institutions) at an approx. cost of Rs.500 crore.
