The Zuari Bridge is a bridge between North Goa and South Goa. The new Zuari bridge will be the third longest cable-stayed bridge in Goa. The project aims to cut down the travel time between north and south Goa. The project is funded by the Union ministry for road transport and highways. The new Zuari bridge projects four-lane approach road will begin near the Bambolim Cross on the northern end and lead upto Verna industrial estate, covering 13.7km, including the new bridge. Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) in a joint venture with Ukrainian company Mostobudivelnyi Zahin Limited is constructing the bridge. The completion of one four-lane section is targeted by December, 2020, while the second section will be ready by April 2021.
