Ladakh Power Development Department (PDD)
The Union Territory of Ladakh’s Power Development Department (PDD) recently signed an power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), for the procurement of 50 MW of DC solar power. The PPA is for purchasing power from a 50 MW solar plant with battery storage being created under the Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP)-2015 in the Taru district of Leh.
