The construction of the new rail line between Taranga Hill and Ambaji-Abu Road, which is expected to cost the Ministry of Railways ?2798.16 crore, has recently received approval from the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs. The new rail line will be 116.65 km long in all. By 20262027, the project will be finished. During construction, the project will directly support around 40 lakh mandays of work. The building of this line would make it easier for the numerous pilgrims that visit Ambaji to travel. Additionally, the visitors to Taranga Hill’s Ajitnath Jain Temple (one of the 24 holy Jain Tirthankaras) will gain a lot from this connectivity.
