With the completion of construction on the 41-kilometre Hansdiha-Godda line, the Eastern Railway has completed the electrification of the entire 2,848-kilometre network.
Eastern Railways’ complete 2,848 km network is now electrified, thanks to the successful completion of CRS (commissioner of railway safety) inspection of the Hansdiha-Godda segment.
