SLR Metaliks is expanding its power generation capacity as part of its steel plant upgrade. The expansion includes increasing the capacity of the existing Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) power plant from 9.0 MW to 30 MW. Additionally, a new WHRB power generation system with 2 x 15 MW capacity will be installed to support the new DRI plant.
