Environmental clearance is sought for the expansion of the cement plant by ACC Ltd. at Chaibasa Cement Works, located at villages Jorapokhar, Basahatu, Kudahatu, Rajanka, Tehsil Chaibasa, District Pashchimi Singhbhum, Jharkhand. The expansion will increase cement production capacity from 1.2 MTPA to 7.2 MTPA with the installation of two new lines of 3.0 MTPA each, while maintaining the existing clinker production capacity of 1.2 MTPA and the 20 MW captive power plant.
