India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge over Anji River set for final trials

India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge over the Anji River in Reasi district is scheduled for final trial runs next month. The 725-meter-long bridge, featuring 473 meters of asymmetric cables, is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL). This bridge will be crossed by the Vande Bharat train, marking its debut in Kashmir in January 2025.
