Environmental clearance is sought for the Kedesala North East Iron Ore Block, which aims to produce 1.21 million TPA of run-of-mine (ROM) iron ore. The total excavation will amount to 1,991,120 TPA, comprising 1,210,000 TPA of ROM iron ore and 781,120 TPA of overburden/waste. This project will cover an area of 100.439 hectares, located in the villages of Jaldihi and Kensara in Sundargarh district, Odisha.
