The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is preparing to invite tenders for a 20.5km master pipeline from the Basai water treatment plant within a month. The project aims to improve water supply to the city’s tail-end areas and will have a capacity of up to 200 million liters per day (MLD). The detailed project report (DPR) is under review, with clearance pending from Indian Railways and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN).
