Mukand Sumi Special Steel Limited (MSSSL) is seeking Environmental Clearance for the expansion of its existing Alloy Steel Rolling Mill plant in Kanakapura, Karnataka. The facility, currently producing 700,000 TPA of alloy steel products, aims to increase its capacity to 900,000 TPA. Additionally, MSSSL plans to establish a 0.7 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant as part of its Backward Integration strategy. The plant operates on approximately 101.525 acres (41.08 Hectares) since September 2020.
