The Tamil Nadu State government plans to revive the long-scrapped proposal for an elevated road from Light House on Marina Beach to East Coast Road in Kottivakkam. The project is now envisioned as a Sea Link Bridge, with a feasibility study to be conducted soon to finalize the new alignment.
