Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (TPSSL) has commenced commercial production of a 2 GW solar cell line in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, with plans to add another 2 GW of capacity in the next 4 to 6 weeks. The plant aims to reach peak production of 4.3 GW in the coming months, following an investment of Rs 43 billion.
