Four-laning project for the Phagwara to Hoshiarpur road

Under the Bharatmala Pariyojana scheme, the centre has approved a four-laning project for the Phagwara to Hoshiarpur road that will cost 1,553 crore. Two years are needed to complete the 48.622 kilometres of construction. This route runs from NH-44 close to Jamalpur (Phagwara) to NH-503A in Hoshiarpur. When finished, it would also provide faster connectivity between NH-44 and NH-503A. (Amritsar–Tanda–Una).
