PMC to build a solar power plant at the Uruli Devachi depot

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will now build a solar power plant at the Uruli Devachi depot. Street lights, weighing scales, pump house motors, and CCTV systems will all be powered by this electricity. The project will cost Rs 56.73 lakh. The electrical department of the civic body had submitted a proposal to the PMC commissioner, for a solar power plant, and the administration had already selected a bidder for it.
