Amazon India to setup three solar power projects totalling 420 MW in India

Amazon India has planned three solar power projects with a combined capacity of 420 MW in India. As part of this plan, Amazon has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Amp Energy to purchase power from their 100 MW solar power plant in Bhadla, Rajasthan. By the end of 2023, the solar plant will be completely operational. Additionally, Amazon has agreements in place with Brookfield Renewable for a 110 MW project and ReNew Power for a 210 MW project. A further 23 new solar rooftop projects totaling 4.09 MW would be installed by Amazon at its fulfilment hubs in 14 Indian cities.
