Floating solar power project on Omkareshwar reservoir

On the Omkareshwar reservoir of the Narmada River in the state, a floating solar project with a 600 megawatt capacity is being built in two stages. Three companies received letters of award today for the first phase’s development of a combined 278 megawatts of capacity. Unit-D of the project will be developed by M/s NHDC Limited, Unit-E by AMP Energy, and Unit-F by SJVN Limited.
