Ultra Gas and Energy (UGE) plans to set up 300 liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facilities across the country at a cost of Rs 4500 crore. Each of the LNG storage facilities would be capable of dispensing 50 tons of LNG a day. A total of 50 tonnes of LNG could be dispensed daily from each of the 300 storage facilities. By the end of this year, the first 20 of these facilities should be up and running. And by 20232024, the rest will be installed. The company aims to supply gas to industrial consumers, especially micro, small and medium enterprises MSMEs.
