The state has provided the Railways with a revised estimate of Rs 3,421 crore for carrying out the long-delayed Angamaly-Sabari railway line project. The revised estimate is Rs 600 crore higher than the original. Kerala Rail Development Corporation Limited (KRDCL) is the implementing agency for the project. KRDCL has submitted the proposal to the southern railway headquarters, after vetting the estimates by the finance department.
