The government of Odisha plans to build 12 modern truck terminals in 12 districts including Angul, Balasore, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, and Cuttack – in the first phase.throughout the state. The truck terminals will be equipped with a service centre, parking, a workshop, a godown, rest spaces, food courts, fuel stations, hotels, and ATMs. The terminals will be built near state and national highways as well as the edges of cities.
