The government of Odisha plans to build 12 modern truck terminals in 12 districts including Angul, Balasore, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, and Cuttack in the first phase.throughout the state. The truck terminals will be equipped with a service centre, parking, a workshop, a godown, rest spaces, food courts, fuel stations, hotels, and ATMs. The terminals will be built near state and national highways as well as the edges of cities.
