Odisha to build 36 new police stations

The state of Odisha recently approved a plan to build 36 new police stations, including one in Bhubaneswar’s Maitri Vihar. In the districts of Bagedia and Gopalprasad in Angul, Gopalpur and Anantpur in Balasore, Bargarh (Rural) in Bargarh, Nimakhandi in Ganjam, Laxmijor and Agalpur in Balangir, Ghantapada, Maniabandha, Jodum, and Bhadreswar, new police stations will be built. After the opening of 36 new police stations, the state will have 648 total police stations.
