Mumbai Metro Line-4 corridor is in a slow lane

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is the project implementing authority for multiple elevated metro lines in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region that are currently under construction or proposed. So far, progress on the Metro Line 4 corridor (Wadala TT-Kasarvadavli-Gaikmukh segment) has been modest. Despite the fact that development began in 2018, the project has only made 37% of its entire progress. The stated corridor is expected to increase Mumbai-Thane connectivity. It will take another 2-3 years for the project to become operational.
