The eastern and western Dedicated Freight Corridors are being built by the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). So far, 1,353 kilometres of the entire 2,840 kilometres of DFC have been rendered operational in both corridors at a cost of nearly INR 85,000 crore, including land costs. DFCCIL hopes to complete more than 90% of the corridor by June 2023.
