The state of Andhra Pradesh is planning to build a 1,000-acre Special Economic Zone (SEZ) corridor in the newly constituted Satya Sai district. The proposed SEZ will be built near Tekulodu, Chilamathur Mandal, on the Karnataka border. The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has submitted plans to the state government for the purchase of 880 acres from farmers for the district’s projected SEZ.
