Amit Organics to build brownfield plant in Ankleshwar

Ami Organics’ board of directors recently approved a Rs 190 crore capital expenditure plan to establish a brownfield unit in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The Capex will be funded through a mix of General Corporate funds of IPO proceeds, internal accruals, and debt. The Ankleshwar site has received environmental approval, and the new facility will contain 90 reactors, bringing the total reactor capacity to 436 kiloliters. The plant is expected to begin commercial operations in the fourth quarter of FY24.
